Adam Gucwa

Founder and the head coach of Adaptive Systems. Fitness background of over 17 years.

From the coach:

My Mom was a national athlete in shot put. When I was 17, she told me she could bench press 80kg when she was my age. At the time, weighing 8 stone I could barely press my own bodyweight.  And so it began, a lifelong journey of becoming the strongest descendant of my blood line. Year later I bench pressed my first gym milestone, a 2 plates bench! 

I've always had a knack for details and with no stones unturned mindset, hungry for knowledge I became an expert in the modern methods and application of strength training. Learned from the best in the field and through practical experience I developed a Training System that comprises of science-based and innovative solutions to rapidly increase strength without making inroads into recovery.

I'm more than happy to share my knowledge and help people reach the limits they wouldn't even dream of hitting.

Piotr Górka

Professional coach and athlete in sport of powerlifting.

Hello!
I'm Piotr, and sports have been an integral part of my life since I was very young. First, I trained handball for nearly 10 years, and now I’ve been involved in strength training continuously since 2019.

I gained my coaching education and first experiences through courses and working abroad. Completed a wide range of specialized training coursework in areas such as training programming, supplementation for strength sports, and dietetics allows me to take a holistic approach when working with my clients.

In training, I emphasize honest communication and a professional approach to the needs and limitations of each individual. When there’s time and space, we’ll share a laugh, but the work has to be done. I strive to show that building physical strength has a significant impact on mental wellbeing. In line with the principle: "You are only as strong as your weakest link," I focus on movement analysis to improve the body mechanics and eliminate pain.

As both an athlete and a coach in powerlifting, I see how important a daily, disciplined work on oneself is in various aspects of life in order to achieve the goals you set. Those who know me, see I’m a person full of everyday kindness, a good sense of humour, and always prioritize the well-being of others.
